Vinh Long is located in the center of the Mekong River Plains, between Tien Giang and Hau Giang Rivers . The tropical monsoon climate is divided in two seasons (rainy and dry) and has an annual average temperature of 27oC. More than 97% of the population is Khmer and Hoa. It is known for its fertile lands white rice fresh red water, green fields, and sweet fruits. The tropical fruits grown here are spreading to all corners of the country
