City. Eight ethnic minorities populate this area: Kinh, Cham, Hoa, Tay
, Nung, Ra Glai, and Ma. Economic potentialities: agriculture, marine resources,
wood-processing industry. The annual average temperature varies between
26 and 27oC

through Phan Thiet. All vehicles going north or south along the coasts
pass through the town.
Train: The station to Phan Thiet is 12km west of the town at Muong Man.
The express train between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City stops here.
Bus: Phan Thiet Bus Station is on Tu Van Tu St. (north of centre). Tickets
should be purchased the day prior to departure. Buses depart daily for
Phan Thiet to Bien Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City , Long Khanh and Mui Ne
